WHO IS THE COURSE DESIGNED FOR
This qualification is designed for learners working or wishing to secure a role in a wide variety of business administrative roles such as:
- administration executives/officer
- administration team leaders
- personal assistants and secretaries, including legal or medical secretaries.
- managers/ supervisors
This qualification forms part of the higher-level apprenticeship in business administration. Also achieving this qualification is equivalent to two A-levels so you can secure your university admission in a business/ management degree.
This qualification is regulated by Ofqual.
OVERVIEW
The Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration aims to develop and give recognition of learners’ knowledge, understanding and competence of working relevant to business administration work roles.
The qualification is for learners who are working, or would like to work, in a business administration role within any sector or industry. It is ideal for those who are new to the role or who’ve been working at that level for a short period of time. The units and structure of this qualification are based on the Skills CFA NOS for Management and Leadership.
To achieve this qualification, learners must complete a minimum of 58 credits: 27 credits from the Mandatory Group and a minimum of 13 credits from Optional Group A. A maximum of 10 credits can come from Optional Group B and a maximum of 8 credits from Optional Group C.
The purpose of the qualification is to provide learners with the skills, knowledge and competencies to support business systems, processes and services and contribute to making businesses more efficient and productive. These skills include the use of software packages, analysing and presenting business documents and managing projects as well as communication, team working, interpersonal skills and the ability to reflect on personal learning. Options are available to gain a more business focused qualification by including business specific units.
On completion of this qualification the learners will have the opportunity to apply for admission into a full BA Degree programme from a range of UK universities.

LEARNING ASSESSMENTS
The assessment takes place on our Portal. We have an e-portfolio system to help students build their Portfolio of Evidence ad receive feedback for their submissions, thus we facilitate the delivery of this qualification fully online.
To be eligible to start the assessment learners must pass the initial assessment and achieved the guided learning hours on the e-learning system.
