        WHO IS THE COURSE DESIGNED FOR

This course provides progression from the Level 2 Award in Health and Safety and is intended principally for those who work in a supervisory or managerial role. Individuals gaining this qualification will achieve a wide range of knowledge of health and safety law, the hazards present in a workplace and how to implement useful and necessary controls. Learners will also be equipped with the skills needed for the adequate supervision of staff. It also focuses on the importance of the health and safety culture of a business, which is an invaluable resource for those taking the qualification.

       OVERVIEW

The qualification provides learners with a thorough understanding of health and safety, especially the importance of monitoring staff and controls. The objectives of the qualification include: meeting relevant programmes of learning, supporting a role in the workplace and giving learners personal growth and engagement in knowledge.

There are no other formal entry requirements. However, it is recommended that learners have a minimum of Level 2 in numeracy/literacy.

The course is available for distance learning.

After purchasing this course, learners will have access to the e-learning platform to access all the course materials, including mock assessments. The course content will be available on their profile for six months.

Also, every learner enrolled will receive via e-mail the course exercises and individual work which should be completed by the learner and send it back to the trainer/assessor to check it and receive feedback.

During the six months, learners should prove that they spent 30 hours reading all the materials.

At the end of each module, learners will have to pass a quiz which has questions related to the module they have read.

The e-learning platform will monitor all the hours spent by the learners reading the course materials. Also, the e-learning platform has an “Away from keyboard” protection as a security measure for the centre to prove that they achieved the knowledge for all modules during the GLH settled by TQUK.

       LEARNING ASSESSMENTS

After the registration process, the learners will receive via e-mail the “Learner registration form” as well as access to the e-learning platform.

After successfully confirming your eligibility you will be invited for the induction and you will receive access to the Portal where you can start working towards the Workbook.

At the end of every module in the e-learning platform, learners will have to pass a short quiz to prove that they achieved the knowledge of each module.
